Massachusetts asked early educators to prove themselves through separate certification, credentialing, and registration systems that didn't talk to each other. I partnered with the Department of Early Education and Care to design a unified Educator Portal replacing them, delivered in phases starting with Certifications (beta complete) and moving next into Registration. I led product and UX across discovery, service design, and interaction design, and ran AI-assisted design-in-code sprints to model policy complexity, surface edge cases early, and give executives something working to decide against.
