AOL Real Estate helps people find their perfect home by providing for sale listings and other valuable resources to guide our users through the home buying process like rent vs buy decisions, financing, home values, school information, moving resources etc.
This project involved finding a new partner to provide MLS data and working closely with them to build our new experience. The partnership represented a $7 million/ year opportunity for AOL.
We also restructured our content infrastructure by consolidating 100's of different content templates to a library of reusable modules that could be combined in different permutations to enable creation of unique content pages. As a result of these two projects, we also redesigned most of the website.
I worked with the business team in the selection of our API partner and worked closely with their product and technology teams to create the project plan. I also managed a team of two designers to redesign the product to support the effort.
